Overcoming Adversity: Insights from EO APAC IWD 2025

EO APAC’s International Women’s Day Virtual Event on 17 March 2025 was a celebration of resilience, leadership, and the power of shared wisdom. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, engaged in meaningful discussions, and contributed to making this event so impactful.

One of the most powerful moments of the event was a discussion on overcoming adversity. Our incredible panelists shared their insights in response to this question:

With each of you facing so much adversity—if you had one piece of guidance to help other women facing adversity, what would it be?

Their responses were simple yet profound:

💡 Be grateful in every moment. Gratitude shifts perspectives, turning challenges into opportunities for learning and growth.

💡 Stop comparing—nothing to lose, nothing to hide, nothing to prove. True confidence comes from within, not from external validation.

💡 Self-awareness anchored in faith. Understanding oneself and staying grounded in personal beliefs can provide the strength to navigate any challenge.

These words of wisdom remind us that adversity is not just a hurdle but a catalyst for transformation. We are deeply grateful to our panelists for their honesty, strength, and inspiration.

To everyone who attended, listened, shared, and supported—thank you! Your presence and participation made this event even more meaningful. Let’s carry these lessons forward and continue uplifting each other.
