Damian Blumenkranc

Hey there, I am Damian, APAC Member Experience Director.
I'm a dot-connector, a bridge-builder. Someone who sees possibilities where others see disparate pieces. At my core, I believe our greatest contributions come not from grand gestures, but from consistently helping everyone around us realize their potential.

I'm a father who wants my children to remember me for the love and support I provided, and for the positive influence I had on others. I'm an entrepreneur who values freedom and flexibility above all else. I'm a world-straddler who moves between languages, industries, and environments with an adaptable spirit.

I like to schedule nearly everything, yet I appreciate the unscheduled moments that bring unexpected joy. I'm fast-paced by nature but working deliberately to slow down and savor life's smaller pleasures

My Purpose is

“My purpose is to connect the dots so we can move ideas forward."

This purpose drives everything I do - from how I structure businesses to run without me, to how I communicate with different team members, to how I approach problem-solving. I bring a practical approach to entrepreneurship, drawing from experiences that span from digital services to industrial manufacturing. Having built Argentina's first online computer parts shop before the internet existed, my journey reflects an ability to adapt leadership principles across vastly different business environments.

I'm driven by both the freedom of entrepreneurship and a commitment to deliver on goals. I create business structures that function effectively even in my absence, providing the flexibility to balance global EO leadership with family life and business operations.

My Journey

My entrepreneurial spirit was ignited early through my father, who was a serial entrepreneur himself. From there, my career path has taken me from high-end corporate video services to manufacturing concrete sleepers for retaining walls. This dramatic shift required significant adaptations—from my communication style to my daily schedule (starting 3 hours earlier) and even my wardrobe (adding steel-capped boots and high-vis to my closet).

Despite these differences, I've applied core business principles throughout, discovering that "the general management skills are the same" regardless of industry. Each transition has taught me to adapt while keeping the fundamentals consistent.

Make it stand out.

Integrating Business and Family

Some of the business approaches also extend to my home like having our our family values are prominently displayed on the kitchen wall in a large frame we created together. My wife participates actively as an EO spouse, and my children attend family events whenever possible, creating opportunities for us to grow together while applying business lessons to our personal lives. I also enjoy taking my kids to work when they can and teaching them new skills and the value of getting their hands dirty,

Areas of Expertise

Business Model Versatility

From Digital to Concrete: Transferable Leadership Principles

Creating a great team and positive culture remains essential regardless of industry. After transitioning from digital services to manufacturing, I found that while "the culture is a little bit different, the people are a little bit different skill sets, but the general management skills are the same." The principles of recruitment, training, motivation, and structure transcend specific business models, providing a foundation for success across sectors.

Communication Adaptation

Speaking Their Language: How Environment Changes Communication

Effective leadership requires adapting communication to both audience and environment. "If I say exactly the same thing to a creative animator, a producer or video producer, that it is to manual labor work in the factory... The topics of interest, the examples that we use to talk about things, the speed of the line of how we speak, the length of the conversations, everything is a little bit different." I've learned that recognizing these variations is crucial for ensuring messages resonate across different teams and contexts.

Freedom Through Structure

The Entrepreneurial Paradox: Creating Systems That Let You Step Away

My global responsibilities and travel necessitate building businesses that don't depend on my constant presence. "It kind of forces me to set up the business in a way that can run without me, at least for a period of time. So that brings both a challenge on learnings, but also creates a bit of freedom." This paradoxical approach—creating structure to enable flexibility—defines my entrepreneurial philosophy.

My Legacy

Looking forward, I hope my children will remember me as a loving, supportive father who made a significant positive impact on theirs and others' lives. Rather than leaving behind one monumental achievement, I'm building my legacy through consistent, everyday positive influence—helping entrepreneurs become better entrepreneurs, staff members achieve success, and influencing everyone I interact with for the better.
